In mixing bowl combine sugar and butter until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla and milk and mix. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add the flour mixture to mixing bowl, a little at a time, until all is incorporated. Roll out dough on flat surface dusted with powdered sugar and cut shapes with cookie cutters. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 min. Allow to cool on tray for a few min. Put it on a counter or cooling rack to cool completely. Frost with sugar cookie frosting.
