Combine cornmeal and water in saucepan. Cook on low until water has cooked down. Add milk, oil, eggs and onion. Add dry ingredients with cornmeal mixture. Drop by spoonfuls into 375 degrees oil and fry until crispy golden brown. Drain and serve immediately.
