     KIT’S BREAD MACHINE DOUGHNUTS

Ingredients
2 Tbs. yeast (2 pkg.)
1/3 c. powdered milk
5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbs. oil
Warm water to make dough (2 cups)
 

Instructions
If you don’t have powdered milk--use 1 c. milk in place of 1 c. warm water Let machine knead dough and do first rising. Then, take out dough and roll to 1/2 inch thick and cut for doughnuts or long johns. Let rise, cover with cloth for 20 minutes. Fry in deep fat at 375-400 degrees (very hot) Crisco or oil. Drain and sugar or frost.
