     COLORED SUGAR FOR SPRINKLES

A day before using- For each color, put about 1/3 c. granulated sugar in a ziptop sandwich bag. Add 2 to 3 drops water and 2 to 3 drops liquid food color. Seal bag and knead until color is evenly blended. Open bag and leave sugar exposed to air about 24 hours. Colors will be paler than purchased colored sugars.
