     FRESH HOMEMADE BISCUITS

Ingredients
2 c. self-rising flour
½ c. Crisco buttermilk, as needed
 

Instructions
Cut Crisco into flour until mixed. Slowly stir in buttermilk until the consistency can be quickly patted down on a floured board and cut. Do not knead. Bake at 400 degrees on the top rack for seven minutes, or until golden brown. Serve with melted butter and a favorite jelly.
