1 cup shortening

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

2 tablespoons hot water

1 cup peanut butter
|

2 1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

| |
1 large package chocolate chips or m&m's (120z.)

Instructions |

|
Blend together the shortening, sugar, and brown
sugar.
|

Beat in the eggs, hot water, and peanut butter.
|
|
|
|
Add the flour and baking soda and mix well. Stir in
the chocolate chips or m&m's. Drop onto ungreased
cookie sheet.

|
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
