     French Cut Crown Pork Rib Roast-8 ribs

Ingredients
Pork Roast French Cut Crown--8 ribs
2 cloves garlic mashed
2 t salt
2 T Dijon mustard
1 T honey or brown sugar
1/2 t thyme
1/4 t pepper
Sauce--1 1/ cups dry red wine
 
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/ cup vinegar
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vegatable oil
3 T soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 t ground ginger
1/2 t ground pepper -add 4 t cornstarch

Instructions
Make a rub with the garlic, salt, mustard, honey, thyme and pepper. Rub on top of the 8 or 9 bone rib roast piece. Place in roasting pan or foil(large) pan on a rack..... Cook at 325 for 2 hour or until it reaches 160 or so. Use a thermometer.... Take out and cover tightly with foil for 15 minutes or so..... Serve on platter--slice through ribs....
Make sauce with the next ingredients starting with red wine. Add 4 teaspoons cornstarch Serve some sauce on side...can be used again Ligonberries or also good
To make sauce---Blend cornstarch into marinade; cook stirring until thickened and bubbly.
Serving Suggestions
Sere with roasted potatoes or twice-baked potatoes and green beans. A salad with apples etc. is good also
