Slice potatoes and layer with chopped onion, salt, pepper, and butter in a 9 x 13 inch Pam sprayed casserole dish. Add enough water to cover bottom. Bake covered
1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove and add shredded Velvetta cheese and 1 jar real bacon bits on top. Put foil back on till cheese melts. (Not in oven)
