6 to 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenderloins
4 oz sliced mushrooms
1 small onion, thinly sliced and separated
3 oz Swiss cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cups milk, divided
2 cups herb stuffing mix, dry and unprepared
3 tblsp butter
Instructions
Grease inside of crock. Cover bottom of crock evenly with chicken, layering if necessary. Follow with layer of mushrooms and onions. Pour 1 cup milk over this, then top with cheese. Add stuffing mix. Dot top with butter, then pour remaining 1/2 cup milk evenly over all. Cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours or 4 to 5 hours on high.
