     Stuffed Crab

Ingredients
1/2 C Celery-chopped
1/3 C Bell Pepper-chopped
1 Onion-large-chopped
4 Green Onion Top-chopped
1 stick Butter
1 pound Crab Meat
1/2 tsp Thyme
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/4 tsp Cayenne
 
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
8 Large Slices Stale French Bread
2 Eggs-beaten
Bread Crumbs-as needed

Instructions
Saute vegetables in butter until limp.
Season crab meat. Add to vegetables and Stir until heated through.
Soak bread in water and eggs. Squeeze out the excess water. Add to the crab meat mixture. Cool thoroughly.
Scoop mixture into cleaned out shells (or forms) or place in a casserole dish. Top with bread crumbs and Bake at 350F for 30 minutes
