     BAKED CARAMEL CORN

Ingredients
6-7 quarts popped corn in large bowl
1/2 c. white corn syrup
2 sticks oleo
2 c. brown sugar
 

Instructions
In saucepan, combine oleo, brown sugar, and syrup. Boil for 6 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. soda. Beat until foamy. Quickly pour over popped corn and mix. Bake on cookie sheets in oven at 200 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from pans immediately.
