Heat oven to 350F.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat in milk and oil until smooth.
Pour into ungreased 8x8x2 pan.
Arrange peaches on top. Mix brown sugar, nuts nad cinnamon. sprinkle over peaches.
Pour boiling water on peaches. Bake until toothpick comes out clean in center=about 60 minutes.
