     Beer-Braised Short Ribs

Ingredients
3 lbs beef short ribs, trimmed
3/4 tsp salt divided
3/4 tsp tsp coarsly ground black pepper
1 tbls olive oil
1 red onion chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
3 carrots sliced
5 garlic cloves sliced
2 tbls tomato paste or ketchup
 
2 (120z) bottles larger beer
2 tbls worcestershire sauce
1 (14.5-oz) can beef beef broth or 1 mixed up bouillion cube divided
1 1/2 tsp flour
Hot cooked wide egg noodles
Chopped flst parsley for plates

Instructions
Preheat over to 350 Sprinkle ribs with 1/4 tsp salt and pepper. Heat oil in skillet over med high heat Add ribs to pan cook 8 mins or until browned on all sides. Remove ribs from pan, reserving 1 tbls oil in pan.Saute onions, carrots and celery in hot oil 5 mins stir in garlic and tomato paste..saute 2mins..Add Beer...Worcestershire 1 1/4 cups broth stir to loosen pieces on bottom of pan..stir in remaining ing
Bake 3-3 1/2 hours to make sure ribs are very tender
