Soften yeast, in luke warm water, add sugar, shortening, salt, potatoes to the milk which has been scalded. When cooled to luke warm, add the yeast, mix thoroughly, add well beaten eggs and stir in enough flour to make a very stiff dough. Turn out n a well floured board and knead well. Put in large bowl to allow slight raising. Cover with cloth and set in ice box, when wanted count off as much dough as needed, shape into rolls. Let raise until double in bulk. Bake in hot oven. Bake 20 minutes.
