     Robert Redford Dessert

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
Crust-
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1½ sticks butter, softened
1 cup chopped pecans
White Layer-
1 8oz block cream cheese, softened
1cup confectioners (powdered) sugar
1 8oz tub Cool Whip
Pudding Layer-

1 5oz box instant chocolate pudding
1 5oz box instant vanilla pudding
3 cups whole milk
Top Layer-
1 8oz tub Cool Whip
Additional chopped pecans (optional)
Mini morsels or grated semi-sweet chocolate (optional)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Mix together the ingredients for the crust and press into a 9 X 13 pan. Bake until golden brown – about 25 minutes and then allow to cool.
Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Then fold in the Cool Whip. Spread white mixture over the crust.
Mix the ingredients for the pudding layer (will be really thick – may add a bit more milk if not to your taste). Spread over the white layer. (This can also be done using other puddings – just make sure you use two boxes of your choice. I have made this using 2 boxes of lemon and substituting almonds in the crust.)
Cover top with last tub of Cool Whip and sprinkle on the toppings. Refrigerate. Enjoy!
