Dice 3 or 4 potatoes, add a little diced onion. Cover with water
and 1 tsp. salt. Cook until potatoes are done, then add milk
and 1 Tbs. butter, and a little pepper. You may need more
potatoes but only just cover potatoes with water and leave
on when you add milk. Don’t let the milk boil, just bring
to a boil.
