Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening crisco( butter flavor)
1 1/2 cups flour
dash of salt
cold water ..enough to form a ball 2-4 tbls
extra flour for rolling
double for 2-crust pie
 

Instructions
Stir shortening with fork, add flour,add salt mix well add water until you can form a ball. On a floured surface, roll out the dough to a 12-inch circle,carefully transfer the dough to a 9-inch pie plate. Fit the dough into the plate(careful not to break bottom or streatch sides)trim the edges to a 1-inch overhang. Pinch with your thumb and finger to make stand up around edges of pie crust.
trim off excess dough with knife Bake in 400 oven for 12-15 mins watch cafefully so it doesnt burn Put filling in If baking with filling do not pre-bake
If you have trouble rolling a pie crust.Chill dough, Try using parchment paper (put dough in between) or you can keep rolling until you get a perfect circle just don't add to much water.
