Stir shortening with fork, add flour,add salt mix well add water until you can form a ball. On a floured surface, roll out the dough to a 12-inch circle,carefully transfer the dough to a 9-inch pie plate. Fit the dough into the plate(careful not to break bottom or streatch sides)trim the edges to a 1-inch overhang. Pinch with your thumb and finger to make stand up around edges of pie crust.
