     Beef Stew

Ingredients
2 T flour
12 oz beef stew meat
2 T cooking oil
3 cups vegetable or beef stock
1 cup water
1 medium onoion
1 T worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp beef bouillon
1 tsp oregano
 
1/2 tsp dried marjoram
1/4 black pepper
1 bay leaf
3 cups cubed potatoes
1 1/2 cups green beans
1 cup frozen corn
1 cup sliced carrots

Instructions
Place flour in a plastic bag, add beef cubes, shaking to coat. In a large saucepan brown meat in hot oil, drain fat. Stir in vegetable juices, water, onion, worcestershire sauce, bouillon, oregano, marjoram, pepper, and bay leaf. Bring to boiling, reduce heat and simmer covered until meat is tender. Stir in potatoes, green beans, corn and carrots. Return to boiling, reduce to simmer, covered about 30 minutes until meat and vegetables are tender.
Discard bay leaf. Makes about 7 cups.
