In a medium skillet sauté onion in butter. Brown hamburger and drain off grease.
In a large sauce pan cook potatoes until tender. Drain set aside (I microwaved my bag for a few minutes so they were not frozen. In the same large saucepan blend flour and milk together. Add the rest of the ingredients; simmer until warm.
