     TERRY’S FAZOLI

Ingredients
1 lb. hamburger
4 cloves garlic mashed
1 pkg. Italian sausage cut into small pieces
1 onion medium size cut into small pieces
6 c. chicken broth
1/2 bundle of celery cut into small pieces
24 oz. crushed tomatoes
1/2 large bag of carrots cut into small pieces
24 oz. of diced tomatoes
 
4 shakes of Italian seasoning
2 Tbs. basil
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. of mushrooms cut up in small pieces (canned or fresh)
1 pkg. macaroni (can use any kind of pasta)

Instructions
Fry hamburger and drain. Add the rest of the ingredients and place in crock pot or large pot. I put all of the ingredients in a large pot and let set in the refrigerator overnight, and then I cook it the following day. That is my preference. It is best when you cook it and then let it set over night before serving it. It gives the seasoning a chance to blend with the other ingredients. Also, I double the recipe for our family. This is like an Italian chili. I serve this with crackers and garlic bread.
The seasoning can also be altered to individual taste.
