2 Old bananas per loaf

1/3 C. Crisco
|
|
3/4 C. Sugar
|

1 egg

2 C. Flour

1 t. Baking Powder

1/2 t. Soda

1 t. salt

3/4 c. Buttermilk ( >3/4 milk and tablespoon of vinegar)

Instructions |

|
Preheat oven to 350.
Beat up bananas,add shortening (crisco), sugar and egg. Beat until well blended
|
|
|
Alternate adding wet and dry ingredients. Don't beat too much, just enough to mix.
|
|
|
Put into a good sized loaf pan 8 x 4 x 3, bake 1 hr.
