     Apple French Toast Casserole

Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup melted butter
3 apples peeled cored & sliced
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1 loaf bagget 1inch slices
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tbsp vanilla
 
2tsp cinnamon
Instructions
Mix 1st three ingredients together. Stir in apples and raisins. Pour into pan. Arrange bread over apples. Whip eggs, milk & cinnamon. Pour over bread. Soak all. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven 375 degrees. Bake covered 40minutes. Uncovered 5minutes. Cool and serve
