Take one 9 inch baked pie shell and slice bananas in the bottom. Combine sugar, butter, salt, cornstarch and yolks in double boiler. Add scalded milk, slowly stirring constantly; cook until thick. Add vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell and chill.
