Mix thoroughly- 300 strokes by hand or 2 minutes at medium speed with mixer. Scrape bowl frequently during mixing. Add and mix vigorously- 300 strokes by hand or 2 minutes by mixer- 3 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, 1 1/2 tsp vanilla. Pour batter into layer pans lined with plain paper or greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes.
