Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Combine butter, wafer crumbs, and brown sugar. Mix well. Spread onto baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 12-15 minutes or until browned; stir occasionally. Remove crumb mixture from oven; cool.
Sprinkle 3/4 of the crumb mixture in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle pecans over crumb mixture. Drizzle caramel sauce over pecans. Spread ice cream on top of sauce; top with remaining crumb mixture. Freeze until solid. Remove from freezer a few minutes prior to serving to ease cutting. Cut into squares and serve.
