Combine garlic powder, cumin and oregano in a
small dish and blend; set aside.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add
chicken and onion; cook 4-5 minutes or until
chicken is lightly browned, stirring often.
Stir in chicken broth, chiles, mixed spices and bay
leaf. Simmer on low heat 15 minutes.
Stir in beans and simmer 5 minutes. Remove bay leaf.
Top with shredded Meontery Jack cheese.
