Combine candy and condensed milk in a large saucepan. Melt over low heat stirring constantly. Cool. Stir occasionally. Add approximately 1 qt. milk to candy mixture. Beat until well blended; chill in refrigerator for at last one hour. Pour into freezer can and add enough milk to come within 3 to 4 inches from the top. Stir in syrup. Freeze as usual.
