20 small boiling onions or 6 medium onions. Peel onions and quarter, if using medium cut into 8ths. Boil onoins until tender, keep water level low as you keep the water. After onions are tender add grated swiss cheese and can of mushroom soup. Stir well. Add slivered almonds and splash dry sherry. Heat until all ingrediants are well mixed. Heat long enough for sherry to cook off a bit. Stir occasionly so bottom doesn't over heat. Add frozen peas and place in serving dish or/and put in oven. Peas go in last so they retain their shape and brightness.
