     Clam Chowder

Ingredients
2-6 1/2 oz cans clams
1 C chopped onion
1 C diced celery
2 C diced potatoes
White Sauce-
3/4 C butter
1qt half and half
3/4 C flour
 
1 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions
Drain clams; put in heavy saucepan. Add chopped onion, diced celery, diced potatoes. Add enough water to cover vegetables. Simmer 10-15 minutes till potatoes are tender. Celery will be crisp. Make white sauce and add to drained mixture.
