     Corn Chowder

Ingredients
1/2 lb bacon (cut in inch pieces)
1 C chopped onion
3 or 4 medium potatoes, diced
2 1/2 C water
2 shredded carrots
1 diced green pepper
3 diced celery stalks
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
 
1 1/2 pints whole kernel corn

Instructions
Cook bacon until crisp, then set aside. Cook potatoes, onions, carrots, green pepper and celery with seasoning in water until done. Add Corn, cook until done. Add the bacon. Just before serving add canned milk to desired consistency.
