     Matzoh and Egg Cottage Cheese Custard

Ingredients
3 large squares matzoh
3 cups cottage cheese
4 egss well beaten
2 cups milk
1 orange rind and juice
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
 

Instructions
Soak matzoh 1 at a time in lukewarm water. Drain and press between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Line a 9" square baking pan with heavy duty aluminum foil. Butter the foil. Place 1 soaaked matzoh into pan. Cover with 1/3rd of the cottage cheese mixture. Continue layering ending with matzoh on top.
Combine remaining ingredients and heat until smooth and well blended. Pour over matzoh. Bake in reheated 375 degree oven for 1 hour or until puffed brown. Serve with sour cream.
