     Bananaberry Muffins

Ingredients
1 cup quick oats
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup flax seed or wheat germ
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup mashed bananas about 3-4 bannanas
 
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/4 cup fresh raspberries if desired

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 12 cup muffin tin with cooking spray and set aside
In 1 bowel Combine- the two flours (if you don't have whole wheat flour then use 1 cup all purpose flour), baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar and ground flax seed. set aside In a 2nd bowel whisk together bananas, butter and egg. Add banana mixture to dry ingredients and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Gently fold in the blueberries.
Divide batter among 12 muffin cups. Bake for 20 minutes or until the wooden pick inserted in center of muffin comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack
