Prepare 19.8 oz. package brownie mix (use steps for “cake-like brownies) in two Pam sprayed, foil-lined, then re-sprayed 8 x 8 inch pans. Cool completely. To make sandwich- Place one brownie layer upside down on cookie sheet. Top evenly with scoops from 1 1/2 pints strawberry and/or vanilla ice cream. Sprinkle with 1/2 sliced strawberries. Top with second brownie layer (right-side up); press gently. Wrap well; freeze at least 4 hours. Cut into 16 squares.
