     Sauerkraut Soup

Ingredients
2 1/2 pints water
1 cup sauerkraut
1 cup cubed potatoes
1 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp flour
1 egg yolk
salt and pepper
 

Instructions
Boil sauerkraut and potatoes in water for 15 minutes. mix together sour cream, butter, flour and yolk, then slowly add to soup mixtures stirring constantly. Heat thoroughly until well blended, season to tast and serve.
Serving Suggestions
Usually eaten with boiled potatoes and rye bread.
