Sift together flour, baking soda, spices, add fruit and nuts. Add karo, sugars, lemon juice to beaten egg. Stir the flour mixture into the wet and mix. Divide dough in half, psread out with dampened hand on well greased and floured 9x12 baking pan and flatten to 1/8 inch. Bake at 400 degree for 12-15 minutes. While still warm, brush with thin icing of 1 cup powdered sugar and 3 Tbsp lemon juice. Cuts into squares while still warm.
