4 1/2 C. STALE BREAD, TORN INTO LG. PIECES
1/2 C. RAISINS
1/2 C. DRIED CHOPPED APRICOTS
4 EGGS
3 C. MILK
3/4 C. SUGAR
1 1/2 TSP. VANILLA
1 TSP CINNAMON
1/4 TSP SALT
 
FOR TOPPING-
3 TB. SUGAR
1/3 TSP. CINNAMON

Instructions
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350F. GREASE SHALLOW 2 QT. BAKING DISH ARRANGE BREAD IN DISH, SPRINKLE RAISINS & APRICOTS ON TOP. BEAT EGGS UNTIL FROTHY, ADD MILK, SUGAR, VANILLA, CINNAMON & SALT. POUR OVER BREAD, PRESSING TO SUBMERGE SLICES. PLACE A BAKING SHEET WITH A 2 IN. RIM IN OVEN. SET BAKING DISH ON SHEET & ADD WATER TO A DEPTH OF 1 IN. BAKE FOR 50 MIN. OR USE TOOTHPICK TEST.
