Conventional Method-
Put pineapple in a 1 qt.saucepan. Mix equal,
cornstarch & cinnamon; add to pineapple, stirring
well. Cut butter in 2 pieces and add to pineapple.
Cook over medium heat until pineapple is tender,
about 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve hot.
Microwave Method-
Put pineapple in a 1 qt.casserole. Mix Equal,
cornstarch and cinnamon in a small cup. Add to
pineapple, stirring well. Cut butter in 2 pieces &
place over top. Cover. Microwave at high setting for
6-7 minutes, stirring well after 3 minutes. Serve
hot. Serve warm and sprinkle with cinnamon.
