     Ravva Dhokla

Ingredients
1.5 cups ravva
0.5 cups besan
1 cup curd
0.5 cup oil and 0.5 cup water (give or take)
Well chopped green chilli and ginger
A pinch of turmeric and a pinch of asafoetida
Salt as required
One half of a lemon (medium sized)
Eno salt – 1.5 tea spoons
 

Instructions
1. Mix all the ingredients other than eno salt, squeeze the lemon and let the batter settle for 30 minutes. 2. Put a pressure cooker on heat
3. Mix eno salt and stir well. Air bubbles should start appearing already. The batter should be cooked very soon now. 4. Grease a vessel and pour the batter into it and put it in the pressure cooker. 5. Cook without pressure for approximately 8 minutes on medium heat.
6. If desired, tadka with mustard seeds and green chilli gives a better flavor. Or else can be served as it is. 7. Cut into pieces and serve.
