     Hot Mushroom Dip

Ingredients
8 oz white or button mushrooms, fresh, and chopped
1/2 cup chopped green onion
4 Tbsp margarine
2 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp milk
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp paprika
Dark liquid hot pepper sauce
 

Instructions
Saute mushrooms and onion in butter. Sprinkle with flour, blend and brown. Add milk, hot sauce and half of sour cream. Continue cooking and stirring over low heat until mushrooms are tender and sauce begins to thicken. Add seasoning and remaining sour cream.
Serving Suggestions
Serve hot with crackers.
