Cook chocolate pudding in 2 cups milk. Blend cake mix into hot pudding, beating by hand or with mixer for 2 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Sprinkle batter with chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. If desired, top with whipped cream.
