     Shrimp Toast

Ingredients
12 slices bread
1 lb deveined shelled shrimp
1 tbl onion powder
1 tbl sherry
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
dash of pepper
1 tbl cornstarch
1 beaten egg
 
oil

Instructions
Trim crusts of bread. Let slices dry out. Chop shrimp. Toss in bowl with onion, sherry, salt, pepper and cornstarch. Mix well. Stir in beaten egg. Mix well. Spread mixture on bread. Cut in 4's
Heat oil in skillet. drop bread pieces. severa at a time shrimp side down in hot oil. Fry until edges are brown. Serve with hot mustard and duck sauce.
You can also freeze them after frying. To serve from freezer. Unwrap and bake 10 min at 375
