PUMPKIN CAKE
Cream together-
1 c. shortening 3 eggs
1 can pumpkin 1 tsp. vanilla
Sift together and add to above-
3 c. flour 1 tsp. soda
3 c. sugar 1 tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. salt 1 tsp. all spice
1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cloves
Pour into a 10” tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Frost with-
½ stick of margarine ½ c. chopped pecans
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ t. vanilla ½ box powdered sugar
Beat margarine and cream cheese until smooth; add rest of ingredients and mix well.
