     SHIRLEY’S CARAMEL PECAN CHEESECAKE

Ingredients
INGREDIENTS
Filling-
2 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Caramel Layer-
1 c. Smuckers sundae syrup or 20 Kraft caramels
2 Tbs. milk
 
1 C. coarsely chopped pecans
Crust-
2 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2 Tbs. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
Garnish-
Caramel sundae syrup
chocolate syrup

Instructions
Combine crust ingredients; press onto bottom and 1 inch upside of 9 inch Spring form pan. Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; mix until blended. Make caramel mixture using Smucker caramel sundae syrup and pecans. Pour caramel mixture over crust. Next pour cream cheese mixture over caramel and pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool. Run knife around edge of cake to loosen; cool in pan 3 hours or overnight. Drizzle with caramel syrup and chocolate syrup before serving.
