Ingredients
1 c. butter
2 c flour, sifted
1 1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
3 T vanilla
1 T baking powder
1 c finely chopped pecans
 

Instructions
Cream butter. Sift flour with 1/4 cup sugar and baking powder. Add gradually to butter. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Shape dough into crescents and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes until delicately brown. Roll in remaining sugar while hot.
