     Old Bay Peanuts

Category   Appetizers
Sub Category   None
Preptime   20 minutes

Ingredients
1 lb unsalted roasted or dry roasted peanuts
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon Old Bay
1/2 teaspoon smoked salt (available at Whole Foods)
dash of cayenne pepper

Instructions
Grind Old Bay, smoked salt, and cayenne pepper with a mortar and pestle or in a spice grinder until very fine. Toss peanuts with the oil and spread on a shallow baking sheet or pan. Sprinkle with one teaspoon of the spice mixture. Put in oven at 275 and roast for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
Remove peanuts from oven and spread on absorbent paper towels to cool. Put into a jar or plastic container with a tight lid. Add remaining Old Bay mix and shake gently to coat the peanuts with spices. Goes great with a cold Yuengling!
