Place potatoes in sauce pan and cover with water cooking till tender.
Place bacon in lg deep skillet. Brown and cook.Crumble bacon and set aside. In reserved bacon drippings saute onion and cabbage until soft and transkucent. Heps to put a id on for awhie.
Drain the cooked potatoes and add mik and season with sat and pepper. Fold into the cabbage mixture. Add in reserved bacon and melted butter.
