Prepare standard Crisco pie crust. Divide dough equally for the number of apples. Roll approximately 7-inches square and 1/8-inch thick.
Peel and core apples. Fill with dot of margarine, sugar, and cinnamon. Wrap dough around apple. Place dumplings seam side down in a glass baking dish.
Pour hot syrup over dumplings. Bake at 425 for 40-45 minutes.
