     Snow Covered Almond Crescents

Ingredients
1 cup Butter, softened
3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
2 cups Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 cup Quick Oats
Extra Powdered Sugar
1/2 cup Almonds, chopped
 

Instructions
Beat butter, sugar, and extract until fluffy. Add flour and salt. Stir in oats and almonds. Form spoonfuls of dough into crescents. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 14-17 minutes until bottoms are golden. Cool on wire racks. Sift extra sugar over warm cookies.
