     OATMEAL CARMELITAS

Ingredients
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
2 c. quick oats
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. melted butter
8 oz. choc. chips
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 jar (12 oz.) caramel topping
 
3 Tbs. flour

Instructions
2 c. flour 1 tsp. soda 2 c. quick oats 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. melted butter Combine to form crumbs and press half to 2/3 in 9 x 13 pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Save other crumbs for top. Sprinkle over crust- 8 oz. choc. chips 3/4 c. chopped pecans Mix and drizzle over choc. and pecans- 1 jar (12 oz.) caramel topping 3 Tbs. flour Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake 15-20 min. Chill for easy cutting.
