Place butter, oil and garlic in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook about 10 minutes on medium-low, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile prepare water for pasta.

Fill a 2 qt saucepan with water. Salt liberally and bring to a boil. Add fresh pasta and cook about 6 minutes, until tender.

Drain pasta. Toss with butter/garlic mixture.
For extra pizazz, reserve the garlic and brown lightly. Use as final garnish.

|
Sprinkle pasta generously with shredded cheese. Garnish with browned garlic, if applicable.
Noodles can be cut in half before cooking to make them easier to eat.
Chicken is a good addition to this recipe.
